Now they are enjoying their company and try to spend as much quality time as they can together. All three of them will forever remember the unforgetable moments of happiness, love and joy.

That feeling of giving to someone, of helping someone towards a better life, towards an education, which is a window of opportunity into the world these days, is unforgettable. Most of us are lucky that we don’t live in need of anything, that we wake up in our beds every day with a roof over our heads while many people elsewhere are living a completely different story. The story of children who don’t know what tomorrow might bring and of those incredible people, who are willing to make a change.
I give up buying a T-shirt, a cup of coffee and with this action I make a small revolution, because with this money, someone can go to school, gets lunch and has insurance. The whole thing here in the Gambia works in a nice and honest way. I like personal contact with the families the most. The money and gifts for the children are taken directly to the families. The charity is in contact with them and everyone, who decides to help, has the option to get into contact with them. The children here are in great need of help of those whose situations allow them to do so. All the gratitude, the looks and the hugs you get in return make for cherished memories.
The new school year is just around the corner, but unfortunately for many kids, the doors will remain closed.
